## Lifetime Access and extra credits

Each plan includes a general-usage allowance for the billing period. Actions draw
from it in proportion to the model tokens and paid tools they actually use, so a
quick answer costs far less of it than a deep research run.

If you need more before the period resets, extra credits are bought in packs.
They never expire and are only spent after the included allowance runs out.
The one-time Lifetime Access package includes 1,800 non-expiring credits.

## Automatic top-ups

Once the included allowance is spent, extra usage is handled one of two ways,
switchable at any time in [billing settings](https://deepsearch.app/billing):

- **Automatic**: a 220-credit
  top-up is bought the moment it is needed, and never more often than the monthly
  limit you pick (1, 3, 5, 10 top-ups per calendar month; 3 by default).
- **Manual**: nothing is ever charged automatically. Work pauses until you buy
  credits yourself.

## Billing and cancellation

- Pro is charged $18/month or $40/3 months, depending on the cadence you choose. The charge
  and the renewal terms are shown again on the payment step before anything is charged.
- The 3-month total is 20–30% less than three monthly payments, with a whole local price. It renews every three calendar months.
- There is no contract or minimum term. Cancel from your account at any time.
- Cancellation keeps your plan active until the end of the current billing period;
  nothing is charged after that, and extra credits you already bought stay in your account.
- Cards, and where available Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link, are accepted.

## Agents and the API

API access normally runs on the same subscription and allowance as the apps. A
paying agent can also settle per call through a payment gateway, with no account
or subscription:

- **MPP**: $0.90 per research call.

Without a gateway payment, a 401 or 402 response carries a `message` and a `url`
to relay to the user, who subscribes at [https://deepsearch.app/developers](https://deepsearch.app/developers).

**Does Pro include web search and Deep Research?**

Yes. Pro includes both web search and Deep Research, giving you more ways to investigate questions when a quick AI response is not enough.

**Can I create images, use voice, and upload files?**

Yes. Pro includes image generation, voice, and file support, so you can research, analyze, and create from the same workspace.

**How is Pro billed?**

**Is there a long-term commitment?**

Pro includes more weekly usage than Free. If you need additional capacity, you can add non-expiring extra credits; they are used only after your included allowance runs out.

**What happens when I cancel?**

Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again after that. Any extra credits you purchased remain in your account.
