What photo intelligence analyzes
Photo intelligence reads visible cues in an image, such as scene type, lighting, landmarks, street features, possible geography, image quality, and signs of editing or synthesis. Available panels depend on what the image actually contains.
It produces estimates with confidence, not hidden facts. The analysis cannot see outside the frame or know who took the picture unless public evidence independently establishes it.
Read confidence first
High confidence
Several visible cues point to the same conclusion and few alternatives fit.
Medium confidence
The estimate is plausible, but other scenes or places could share the same cues.
Low confidence
The image is ambiguous, low quality, tightly cropped, or missing diagnostic details.
Not an identity check
Photo intelligence describes visible evidence. It should not be used to identify a person, infer protected traits, or make high-stakes decisions about them.
Improve the analysis
- Upload the original file instead of a screenshot when possible.
- Keep signs, road markings, architecture, vegetation, or vehicle details visible.
- Avoid heavy filters, motion blur, and recompressed social-media copies.
- Use a second independent image before relying on a location estimate.
