Research skills, ready for your agent.

Give your agent a careful, repeatable way to research people, companies, images and vehicles. Each skill works through your DeepSearch MCP connection.
  • Compare

    Keep identities apart

Candidates stay separate until you choose one. A skill never merges two people who share a name.

  • Cite

    Keep every source attached

Answers carry linked sources, and an empty result is reported as empty, not as proof of anything.

  • Respect

    Know where the line is

Public information only. No stalking, no hiring or credit decisions, and no profiles of minors.

Install the skills.

Pick your agent. Each command connects the MCP server and saves the five skills where that agent looks for them.

Terminal · ~/.claude/skills
claude mcp add --transport http deepsearch https://deepsearch.app/api/mcp

for skill in deepsearch-people-search deepsearch-company-research \
  deepsearch-image-research deepsearch-vehicle-research \
  deepsearch-onboarding; do
  mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills/$skill
  curl -fsSL https://deepsearch.app/.well-known/agent-skills/$skill/SKILL.md \
    -o ~/.claude/skills/$skill/SKILL.md
done

Every file is plain Markdown you can read first. The index lists a SHA-256 digest for each one.

Good research starts with clear instructions.

  1. Ask before spending

A skill explains the lookup it is about to run, and runs it only after you ask for that work.

  2. Choose, then build

The agent compares candidates with you before it builds a full report for the one you pick.

  3. Say what is unknown

A missing record is reported as missing. An empty result never becomes evidence that a claim is false.

Choose the skill for the work ahead.

Use the deepsearch-people-search skill to research Ada Lovelace by name. Compare the candidates with me before building a report.

Common questions

Does a skill give my agent access?

No. A skill is a set of instructions. Access comes from your DeepSearch MCP connection and the permissions you approved when you signed in.

Which agents support these skills?

Any agent that reads SKILL.md files, including Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. Each skill is one Markdown file with a name and a description, so other agents can load it too.

Which skills are included?

Five: people search, company research, image research, vehicle research and onboarding, which connects the account and explains the lookups before any work starts.

Where should I install the files?

In your agent's skills folder, one folder per skill: ~/.claude/skills for Claude Code, ~/.codex/skills for Codex and ~/.cursor/skills for Cursor. Other agents often read ~/.agents/skills.

Can I read a skill before installing it?

Yes. Each one is plain Markdown at /.well-known/agent-skills/<name>/SKILL.md, and index.json beside them lists a SHA-256 digest for every file.

How do I update an installed skill?

Run the install command again. It overwrites each SKILL.md with the current version. Compare the digest in index.json if you want to check what changed.

Will a skill start a paid lookup on its own?

No. The skills tell your agent to explain the lookup first and to run it only after you ask for that work.

Why are some tools marked as not public yet?

A few skills also describe account tools, such as saved reports, Incognito and Photo Location, that are not on the public MCP server yet. Until they are, the skill tells your agent to say so and to keep to the tools it can call.

Do I need the CLI as well?

No. The skills call the MCP server's tools. The CLI is a separate way in for terminals and scripts.
