Country calling codes

A country calling code is the telephone prefix used before a national number for international calls, such as +44 or +90. Some codes are shared by more than one country or territory. It is different from a city area code or an ISO letter code.

Start with + and the country calling code, then enter the national number in its international format. A domestic leading 0 is often removed, but exceptions exist, including Italian landlines. Open the country guide for its rules.
